Ahmad Shah Waziri completed his secondary education at Mehrab Uden High School in Afghanistan and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Alongside his academic pursuits, Ahmad Shah has a deep love for reading, playing soccer, swimming and engaging in meaningful conversations with youths. One of Ahmad Shah’s proudest moments was receiving a youth leader award in India in 2018, a testament to his dedication and leadership skills. Looking ahead, his plans involve pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, with the intention of leveraging his knowledge and skills to open an office for youth beyond his country’s borders. Driven by a desire to empower and uplift others, Ahmad Shah aims to make a significant impact by promoting education for girls and advocating for women’s rights. With his enthusiasm and vision, he hopes to create positive change and contribute to the betterment of society. He is excited for the Doha Debates Ambassador Program because it provides an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on important global issues, and offers a platform to engage in thought-provoking discussions, challenge existing narratives and contribute to the exchange of ideas. It is also a unique chance to connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, allowing for collaboration with experts, activists and thinkers. Finally, it offers access to resources and mentorship to further enhance his knowledge of global affairs, effective communication and advocacy. Through the program, he hopes to improve his ability to articulate complex ideas, engage in constructive debates and effectively communicate across diverse audiences. He is also excited to learn from the viewpoints and experiences of other ambassadors. By engaging with individuals from different cultural, social and intellectual backgrounds, he hopes to broaden his perspectives and develop a more nuanced understanding of global issues. This exposure will help him become a more informed advocate and contribute to inclusive and well-rounded conversations.
