Alperen Ahmet Koçsoy was born in Trabzon, Turkey, and raised in Elazığ, which lies between the Southeastern and Eastern Anatolia regions of Turkey. He has long had an interest in the social sciences. He currently studies political science and public administration at Bilkent University, Ankara, and is preparing to attend the Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Sheffield in the UK. He hopes to continue following his passions and create meaningful change working in academia, foreign affairs or nongovernmental organizations.
