Alyasa Abbas studied economics, with a keen interest in economic methodology, international aid flows as well as issues of labor in India, focusing on the political economy of labor law reforms. He is also interested in researching South Asian Muslim society in order to better understand wealth and social inequalities. Alyasa currently works as a data analyst. He is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
