Aminullah Haqyar is a social activist and human rights defender working for American Councils and the US Embassy, implementing social and public-awareness projects in different areas of Kandahar, Afghanistan. He is also a graphic designer, English teacher and computer operator. Aminullah has implemented more 30 different social projects focused on child marriage, poverty, women’s education, leadership and many other issues, and is currently working on a project to educate Afghan girls online. He graduated from high school in 2021 and is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the American University of Afghanistan in Qatar. Aminullah believes in hard work, creativity and sympathy and aspires to contribute to society through his learned knowledge.
