Asmin Kiza Nakaima was born and raised in Goma, the capital of the North Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She heads the economic and social department of Ubuntu Panafrika, a nonprofit organization based in DR Congo, which aims to awaken and elevate the pan-African consciousness. She is a youth advocate at the Education Above All Foundation (EAA), a nonprofit organization based in Qatar that envisions inclusive and equitable quality education for all, and is involved in climate action projects. Asmin is currently enrolled at the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in Uganda, where she is studying computer science. She aspires to become a great innovator and solve global challenges using technology. Asmin is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
