Bayan Kayyali is a Syrian undergraduate student at Georgetown University in Qatar. She is majoring in international politics and minoring in international history, with a particular interest in the politics and history of the Middle East and North Africa region. Bayan hopes to work on projects and initiatives within her field of interest. She is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because she’s a strong advocate for debate and dialogue as a means of addressing the pressing issues we face today and may face in the future, and believes that the ambassador program is an innovative platform for facilitating this.
