Calú Pereira is a language educator and translator from Brazil. They studied languages, literature and translation, and in their free time, they love talking to friends, writing poetry and watching series or movies. Calú is most proud of being awarded a position in the International Teachers’ Olympiad and being invited to be an interpreter and facilitator for the Museum for the United Nations. They hope to work abroad in the future as an educator. Calú is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because it is mind-opening and connects people with different perspectives.
