Divya Rath is a first-year medical student at Howard University, with plans to become a physician who serves low-income patient populations. She’s extremely passionate about improving children’s access to education, and co-founded Global Guru, a global education nonprofit. She is an avid volunteer and has been honored for her civic engagement as a two-time Clinton Global Initiative Fellow. She is also a George H. W. Bush Points of Light Honoree and a Forbes Next 1000 semi-finalist. In her free time, she enjoys dancings, going for long walks and trying new coffee shops. Divya is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
