Emily Njoki Njiriri pursued a diploma in social work and community development at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic in Mombasa, Kenya. She is passionate about inclusivity and equality, and she conducts talks about mental health and menstrual hygiene with adolescent girls. An enthusiastic volunteer, she is the county youth secretary of the Kenya Red Cross Society in Mombasa and has an in-depth understanding of the problems affecting youth in her community. She has also studied Kenya Sign Language and can communicate with both hearing and Deaf people. Emily is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
