Hamad Othman is a Sudanese undergraduate student at Cairo University in Egypt, studying economics and public administration. He is a climate justice activist with interests in peace-building, social inclusion, gender equality and entrepreneurship. Hamad is most proud of being the winner of the 2023 Arab Youth Green Voices (AYGV) Challenge for founding his initiative, AA for CC Network, and for being the only Sudanese participant in ALECSO’s Arab Camp for Talented and Innovative Youth in Muscat, Oman in 2023. He is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because he believes this program is a real opportunity to strengthen his communication skills so he can be a better leader for his community. He hopes to meet other young community leaders from different backgrounds to learn from them and their experiences.
