Inaya Folarin Iman is a broadcast journalist and commentator, especially on the subjects of freedom of speech, identity politics and moral progress. She is the founder and director of The Equiano Project, a forum to promote freedom of speech and open dialogue on the subjects of race, identity and culture, and is also the youth engagement trustee for the National Portrait Gallery in London. Inaya co-programmed and co-designed the historic conference Towards the Common Good: Rethinking Race in the 21st Century at the University of Cambridge in 2023.
