Joan Kamau is a Kenyan undergraduate student at Africa International University in Kenya. She is currently studying psychology, but has also studied social work and French. She enjoys listening to music, watching movies and documentaries and taking nature walks. Joan is proud of empowering the youth in her community by conducting home visits and educational workshops. She is excited to be part of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program because she will be able to learn a great deal about holding peaceful conversations and negotiations. During the program, Joan would like to perfect her communication skills and gain more insight into peaceful conflict solutions.
