Leila Howze is an American undergraduate student in peace and conflict studies (PCS) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, investigating and discussing conflict, culture and the impacts of peace activism. In her free time, she loves to make floral arrangements and explore art events with friends. Leila is most proud of the knowledge and connections she has gained through her time in the PCS department and hopes to apply her knowledge towards work in food insecurity and community building. Leila is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because of the chance to make diverse connections and to engage in debate without striving to win against another but instead aiming to learn through connection.
