Manahil Naveed is a freshman at Northwestern University in Qatar, where she is pursuing journalism and political science. A champion for marginalized women’s rights, she has collaborated with Amnesty International and Justice Project Pakistan to bring legal, social and educational reform to help liberate women from patriarchal structures. She is also a writer for LAPP Magazine, where she highlights stories of domestic abuse and child marriage in Pakistan. As a Doha Debates ambassador, she hopes to understand the embedded realities existing within the diverse communities of her peers.
