Mariem Rekik is a senior-year finance student at Sfax University in Tunisia. She’s passionate about investments, world economics and international relations. She’s active in the Tunisian International Model United Nations (TIMUN), which deepened her interest in geopolitics. She is a product manager at ElBaladiya, a digital platform established to facilitate digital communication between municipalities and citizens in Tunisia. In 2021, Mariem represented her university in a Tunisian debate competition organized by Qatar Debate. Mariem is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
