Maryam Arabi is a second-year pre-med student at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar. As a high school student, she participated in the debate championships held by Qatar Debate, and was heavily involved in movements for empowering women, education for all and promoting physical and emotional well-being. She has recently been elected president of her university’s debate team.
