Muhammed Afsal is a graduate student at Darul Huda Islamic University in Kerala, India, where he studies Islamic and human sciences, and is also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Calicut. He is passionate about interfaith dialogue and giving space to voiceless communities. Muhammed is an editor at Thelitcham Monthly, a magazine about politics, history and societal development published by DHIU, and also participates in Knowledge Resource Empowerment Activities, an education project, under a member of Kerala’s legislative assembly. He loves to travel and explore other cultures. Muhammed is a member of the third cohort of the Doha Debates Ambassador Program.
