Rana Sokmen is a 21-year-old who lives in Istanbul, Turkey, where she has completed her first year of law school. She believes that concerns faced by local communities often have similarities, and so need to be discussed by all of us around the world. As a Doha Debates Ambassador, she hopes to be part of the change made by young students around the world, as part of a network of people who express opinions and ideas with an open mind.
