Sama Ayoub is a Palestinian medical student at Weill Cornell in Qatar. Although physically far away from her homeland, she feels connected by her resilience and innovation, and is inspired to take on the challenge of finding solutions to real-world problems. As an aspiring medical professional, Sama believes that our emotions do not limit us, but instead represent our boundaries, sensitivities and compassion, which can drive us to become active agents of change.
