Sara Ashworth is the chief of staff for Doha Debates. Sara focuses on developing curriculum and show content, project management and researching new opportunities and initiatives.

Prior to joining Doha Debates, Sara worked at National Geographic, where she handled strategic partnerships and tentpole development, and served as executive assistant for the executive vice president of digital. Sara has also worked at the Al Jazeera Media Network in a variety of roles supporting operations and facilities, finance and programs.

Sara is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degrees in history and international affairs and a Master of Science degree in international affairs.

When not at work, Sara enjoys crafting, spending time outdoors and going to concerts.
