Doha Debates’ first Arabic-language podcast, Lana, launched March 18 at TEDinArabic. In the tradition of Majlis-style debate, Doha-based host Rawaa Augé will engage young Arabic speakers in open, thoughtful dialogue on timely issues, exploring multiple sides of each topic. Our first season opened with a discussion on the utility and value of online debate. Other episodes in the first season address the evolution of the Arabic language, mental health issues affecting younger generations and the complex topic of immigration and asylum.

Lana is our first podcast in Arabic, and we were thrilled to launch it at TEDinArabic on March 18, 2023.
