Catalina Silva is a 20-year-old climate activist from Chilean Patagonia who advocates for glacier conservation and for more scientists to be included in climate policy decision-makers. Catalina co-founded 1000 Acciones por un Cambio (1000 actions for change) to encourage young people to take steps in their everyday life to address climate change. She’s also an ambassador for ConCausa 2030, a campaign born out of COP25, the U.N.’s 2019 climate change conference, to mobilize Latin American youth to advance sustainable growth.
