Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim is an environmental activist. She founded the Association of Indigenous Peoples and Women of Chad (AFPAT) and spoke at the signing of the Paris Agreements, representing civil society. Her work showcases Indigenous rights and the effects of climate change on Indigenous populations.
