2021 Doha Debates Ambassadors
About the program
The Doha Debates Ambassador Program is a first-of-its-kind experience that will empower and equip the next generation of changemakers with the knowledge, tools, relationships and experiences they need to engage with diverse perspectives and bring positive, solutions-focused change to their local communities.
Through a series of nine virtual conversations that will take place between August and October of 2021, Doha Debates Ambassadors will engage directly with global experts and community leaders to explore and wrestle with topics related to pressing global challenges. We believe that the crises humanity faces today require all hands on deck. Young people from all around the world need to come together and think differently than previous generations. The Doha Debates Ambassador Program provides this highly selective cohort with meaningful access to people already working on these issues and, just as important, access to each other: Together, these young leaders can learn from each other and ignite collective action.
Our first class of ambassadors comprises 36 young leaders from diverse backgrounds and from all over the world. These ambassadors, who are between the ages of 18 and 25, represent 17 countries on five continents, and they have already committed to the exploration and growth necessary to apply global knowledge to local solutions.
Congratulations to the 2021 Doha Debates Ambassadors!
Applications are not yet open for future classes.
